This Italian Wedding Soup starter brings the taste of the Old Country to your dinner table with our original recipe when you add your own tiny meatballs.  Or add the flavors of Italy's Tuscan region by adding diced potatoes, Italian sausage and white beans.

2 ½ cups water
½ cup (rounded) Italian Wedding Soup Starter
¼ lb. cooked tiny meatballs or cubed, cooked meat

Using a heavy kettle, combine water and soup starter and bring to a boil. Stir regularly to avoid sticking. Reduce heat to achieve a low boil. Simmer for 8 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the cooked meat and return to boil. Remove from the burner and cover for 5 minutes. Serve.

Make 2 1/2 cups.  The entire package makes approximately 5 servings of soup
